The GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPL-3.0) states the conditions under which open source software is made available. The AGPLv3 differes in that it deals specifically with network software that is typically distributed. In a nutshell, the AGPLv3 states that any party that makes modifications to the codebase of AGPLv3-licensed software _and then distributes it_ must also release the new code under the same license. Additionally, any code that links to the codebase must also be made public. ## Notable software under this license [[k6 (tool)]]: [[k6 Licensing]] ## Related - [[Intellectual Property Law]] - [[GPL License]]
