When you go to the [[Obsidian]] Community Plugins option for the first time, you're presented with this warning: ![[obsidian-plugins-security.png]] As [stated in the Obsidian documentation](https://help.obsidian.md/Advanced+topics/Community+plugins), the Obsidian team does a bit of an audit before any plugins are listed as an official community plugin, but they can't catch everything. They rely on the open-source and Obsidian communities to find bugs. If that's not acceptable to you, it's better not to enable community plugins.
