The [[Rødecaster Pro]] is an awesome audio mixer, and an essential part of my kit. I usually have it hooked up to my [[Røde PodMic]] as my primary microphone input, and the combination is pretty powerful. [[Clubhouse]] is a social network that, for now, is only available on mobiles and tablets, which means it's not as easy to use the Rødecaster Pro with it. However, here's how I managed to use it with Clubhouse anyway. ## Connect mobile/tablet to Rødecaster Pro I used my iPad Pro, but Clubhouse supports iOS and Android devices. The Rødecaster Pro accepts wired or wireless connections from mobiles/tablets. I chose to go with bluetooth so that I could charge my iPad at the same time. ### Wired You'll need a TRRS cable (the kind with three black lines) attached to a USB C-to-3.5mm jack converter for an iPadPro or Android device, or a lightning-to-3.5mm jack for an iPhone. ### Bluetooth Press the Bluetooth key on the Rødecaster and pair the device to it. ## Connect your headphones to the Rødecaster Connect headphones to the Rødecaster using the 3.5mm jack at the front of the device. Confirm that your Rødecaster is getting the audio signal from your mobile/tablet by making sure that the channel marked with the phone icon is receiving input. That's it! I was afraid I'd have to worry about using mix minus and other more advanced features, but I didn't have to worry about it-- I was able to plugin my Røde PodMic to the Rødecaster and use it for Clubhouse. An advantage of this setup is that you can also use the Rødecaster Pro to record the event.
