Information architecture is the field of [[Design]] that seeks to organise and structure information so that it is easy to find and easy to use.
## Relationship to the architecture of physical buildings
Information architecture likens the building and maintenance of [[Digital information environments]] to that of physical environments. They are similar in the following respects:
