Characters can be *trained* and later *specialized* at skills. Skills can never be used to ease a task by more than two steps. ## Assets (p.103) An asset is anything that helps a character with a task, which could be: - equipment - a circumstance (such as being in a rainstorm when trying to put out a fire) An asset eases a task by 1 or 2 steps (and no more than that).
