# [[Ops all the things]]
"Ops all the things" is my term for the trend in [[Software Testing]] and [[Software Development]] to add `-Ops` to every term in an attempt to encapsulate the fact that previously discrete processes like testing, development, and observability are now sufficiently mature that they require an operations layer to navigate and manage.
## Implementations of this trend
- [[DevOps]]
- [[TestOps]]
- [[GitOps]]
- [[Observability|Obs]]Ops?
Okay, "ObsOps" doesn't really exist, but it still follows the trend in that the observability stack is now an integral part of the "application".
