# [[Tips for processing notes in Obsidian]]
Below are some tips for processing notes and refactoring them in [[Obsidian]].
- When you create a page, try to relate it to other notes. In particular, link them to contexts to increase the chances of finding them.
- Consider using [[LATCH approach for PKM metadata]] to see what type of metadata might be good to add.
- Review your notes regularly. When you find a note that is quite long, think about breaking it up into multiple notes. Don't worry about trying to make notes strictly [[Principle of Atomicity|atomic]]; good enough is good enough.
- Use the plugin [[Note Refactor]] to help automate this a bit.
- If there is a particular subject or area you're interested in, explore your own knowledge vault using tools like [[Obsidian ExcaliBrain]].
