# Video gear
Below are the cameras and accessories that I have and currently recommend. I include affiliate links where possible, which means I get a few cents off your purchase-- definitely not enough to sway my opinion! ;)
## Cameras
### Main cameras
- [Sony A6600](https://amzn.to/3CmuLH1) : my main shooter
- [Canon M50](https://amzn.to/3yi8VSp): my permanent webcam
- [Canon 6D Mark II](https://amzn.to/3ltqOdy): getting on in age, but still good for video
I now recommend Sony cameras over Canon ones because:
- they don't have a recording limit
- they can be charged via USB
- they have clean HDMI out (which means they're great as webcams)
### Supplementary cameras
Cameras for specific purposes that I don't use in every video.
- [Sony RX100 VII](https://amzn.to/3KHNoJu): Best compact camera. I have version V and it's held up for years. Also great as a webcam.
- [DJI Mini 2](https://amzn.to/3FTVJGt): Best travel drone! I have the first version, but this one is better. It's light enough so that you don't need to register it to fly it in many countries.
- [DJI Osmo Pocket 2](https://amzn.to/3GV6ZUd): Tiny, powerful camera with an electronic gimbal and a microphone.
- [Insta360 One X2](https://amzn.to/3FUyeNf): Waterproof 360-degree camera
- [Insta360 Go 2](https://amzn.to/3H3zbUV): Tiny wearable camera with not-great quality, but useful for capturing your life.
## Lenses
### Sony
- [Sigma 16mm f1.4](https://amzn.to/3xn3ZKD) : Yummy bokeh, great in low light
- [Sony 10-18mm f/4](https://amzn.to/3nRPrAX): Better for vlogging because it's image stabilized, but not great in low light
### Canon
- [Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L](https://amzn.to/3rTm6XK): Good for stationary cameras, because it's not image stabilized
## Accessories
- [SwitchPod tripod](https://amzn.to/3fowSA0): best handheld/tabletop tripod
- [Peak Design Travel tripod](https://www.peakdesign.com/pages/travel-tripod): Pricy, but the only full tripod I use these days. Excellent for travel!
