Vilamoura is a new city in [[Loulé]] in [[Faro]], [[The Algarve]], [[Portugal]]. Our AirBNB host in [[Olhos de Água]], Catalin, told us that Vilamoura is being modelled after Monaco; they want it to be a rich, fancy place with golf courses and the beach. She said it's an expensive place. Along with [[Quinta do Lago]] and [[Vale de Lobo]], it creates a "Golden Triangle" in the Algarve where all the money is.
