Page preview is a [[Core plugins|core plugin]] that shows a smaller version of a note when you press `CMD/CTRL` and hover your mouse over a link. It is disabled by default, but I think it's worth enabling. Using the page preview gives you a quick look at a note without needing to open it up and take your focus away from the current note.
