Word count is a [[Core plugins|core plugin]] that tallies the number of words and characters in an open note. It is enabled by default. To use it, open a note and look at the status bar on the bottom right. Next to the icon of a pencil is a number corresponding to the words and characters contained within the current note. ![[word-count-status.png]]
