The DM is also a player at the table, so you also need to pay attention to your interests-- and cater to them.
DM's block is very similar to writer's block.
## Tips for combatting DM's block
- Determine what you're avoiding doing. What is it about the next session that you're dreading or finding too boring?
- Put a gun on the table. Throw something in there to spice things up. Could be combat.
- Watch a movie. Get inspired by something else.
- Use your players. Draw or find a map, and then give it to your players. Listen to them guess what it is, and pick an idea you find cool.
- Know what about being behind the screen excites you.
