I pay for it and find it useful, but there's one use case it doesn't solve yet. What if you just want to share a single note quickly and privately? This was something Notion did really well, with both public pages and invite-only private pages. In this video, I'm going to talk about a plugin I discovered a couple months ago that is easy to set up and lets you quickly share a note online *for free* to anyone you choose. It's called Obsius Publish. ### Structure - What is Obsius Publish? - Alternative to Obsidian Publish - Free - Like Notion - How to install Obsius - How to publish a new note with Obsius - How to update a note - Getting the public URL to an existing note - I put the Obsius URL in the properties - Deleting a note - View all published notes - Limitations - No links-- one-off pages only - No advanced formatting or other Obsidian plugins - Limited permissions - Shouldn't be used for mission critical stuff - Privacy? - I looked at the Network traffic and confirmed it's not sending any other information other than what's on the page. - I still would use this with caution - once you publish something online, you lose control of who sees that information. ### Outro Obsius Publish is a community plugin maintained by one developer.
