## Hook
When you first start using Obsidian, you might think that Obsidian is all black and white text everywhere. And text can be really useful. It's easy to type, viewable anywhere, and searchable. But what if you're aching for a more visual experience? Well, there's a way to combine both, using a plugin called Excalidraw.
In this video I'm going to take you with me as I create a sort of visual dashboard or map of content of my Obsidian notes. I'm going to turn [[Fork My Brain|This]] into THIS (Excalidraw drawing)

## Outro
There are so many other things I didn't show you here that Excalidraw can do. There is a script library where you can download scripts that make certain repeated actions easier, and you can create your own too. Excalidraw can be used on the mobile app, and I've had great success with drawing on it using my Apple Pencil on my iPad. And the developer, Zsolt Viczián, is working on a whole other plugin that leverages Excalidraw's visual interface and turns it into a full VISUAL way to explore your own notes.
I really love Excalidraw and feel like I'm only scratching the surface, so drop me a comment if YOU'D like to see more videos about it. Otherwise, if you're interested in plugins, check out this video I did on the Dataview plugin, which has also changed the way I create and rediscover my notes. Till the next time, obrigada. Thanks for watching!
