Even the history teacher, Mrs. Duncomb, wouldn't respond to them or give them a test to take. > > Eventually, they went and found the vice principal, Mr. Tanner, who turned out to be the only one who could see them... but for a good reason. He admitted that 300 years ago, in the 1690s, his sister, Mary, and her friends Lucy and Tom were accused of witchcraft, killed, and promptly forgotten. The town moved on, but Mr. Tanner did not. He tried to keep their memories alive, but the town seemed not to care. He made a deal with the forces of the Underworld: he would live forever, and in exchange, three students would be randomly selected every year. These students would be forgotten by everyone, and then at sunset, the monsters from the Underworld would hunt them down. This year, Ada, Tex, and Dusty had been selected. > > Mr. Tanner asked the party to try to get the town to remember Mary and the others. They broke into the AV room and tried to broadcast what they'df been told by Mr. Tanner, but everyone forgot them as soon as they'd said something. So instead, they tied up Mr. Tanner to a chair and forced him to recount his story. As the whole school was forced to listen to him and began to believe he needed a doctor, Ada set off the fire alarm and the party snuck off to bike to Mr. Tanner's house... but not before Tex killed Mr. Tanner. > > There they found a book of rituals, hidden in the basement with what looked like a collection of snowglobes, except instead of snow and figures, the snowglobes just had black wisps of smoke inside. The party figured out that the snowglobes were the souls of the Forgotten, and smashed everything. Eventually, Dusty remembered his older sister, Tex remembered his cousin, and the rest of the town remembered them as well. > > Ada, Tex, and Dusty begrudgingly admitted that despite their differences, they did have one thing in common: they would never tell anyone what *really* happened today. ^summary %% <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KKeO90mp2rE" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> 00:00:00 Intro and character creation 00:15:35 Waking up and getting ready for school 00:23:34 We get to school 00:44:37 Talking to Mr. Tanner 01:00:26 Principal Walker 01:29:45 Ned is part of the radio club now 01:37:45 New plan, HDYWTDT 02:04:39 To the old courthouse 02:26:26 Epilogue %% --- ## Log [[Kids on Bikes]] rules.
