It was easy to find, and we quickly managed to figure out which of the tents in the camp belonged to Ono Lectrix. > > We were able to sneak into her tent. I began to deactivate her numenera, and then Squeeee clamped down on her mouth so that she wouldn't scream. Jackie then attempted to talk her into helping us with cookies and wine. It turned out that Ono was a slave of her own position, and was only using the village raids as a distraction for the bandits she travelled with-- she didn't want them to kill her as they had her predecessor. Jackie convinced her to come back with us to Vesburgh and meet with Devine Nex so that we could figure out a way to potentially convince the bandits to trade in criminal activity for potentially protecting the village from teratomas instead. > We snuck Ono out, with Jackie using *Facemorph* and me using *Biomorph* to change the way we looked so that we could pass as guards. However, as we reached the border of the bandit camp, an alarm sounded, and cries rang out that Ono was missing. Just then, a gravity wellstorm erupted just ahead, spraying rocks into the air. There's a story there that we should probably chase up later. - Jackie proposes that she leave a cypher in Vesburgh to help them enact a backup plan. - Shelter in place - Go to the bandit camp and sneak in. We're travelling to the camp. It's less than an hour away. We see lights at the cardinal directions. We bring cookies. At 3-4am. People are supposed to be guarding but they're sleeping and are clearly not guarding. We're coming from the southwest. We get on a higher ridge. We spot a humongous tent on one side, but it's not it. Jackie points out that a smaller tent has more guards around it. Then we remember that there was a humongous behemoth in the fight-- that's probably what's in the large tent. We see two guards right now but there might be more. We try to stealth in. We hear some snoring in some tents. We get a GM intrusion! A guard walks towards us. Jackie distracts him away and we slip into the tent. We see [[Ono Lectrix]] sleeping, with three balls rotating around her. Squeeee grabs one of the balls and shows it to me. The pulse isn't something that is going to blow up or cause harm, but as it pulses, the other two have stopped rotating and are also pulsing. They don't like the state of being untogether. Squeeee tries to make sure Ono isn't going to yell out or get up. Ono has four eyes. It's right in the middle of their forehead. I try to get to the other ball and deactivate it, but fail to catch it. Squeeee's word for the session is COOKIE. Ono wakes up and Jackie gives her some wine. She immediately says "Protect" and the other two balls start rotating really quickly around her. She says we have 20 seconds to tell her something she wants to hear. Jackie tries to win her over with the suggestion of a tithe, but Ono says that she actually is just trying to survive herself. She is trying to channel their might by distracting them with the town. She doesn't really care about the tithe. The last person got killed. She feels like she's a slave to the title. Ono agrees that the Teratomas are a problem. Jackie proposes that they charge the villagers a fee to protect them. Jackie mentions Divine Nex and Ono recognizes him. They tried to kill Ono two days ago. Jackie convinces her to come with us and make an effort to try and figure something out. I use *Biomorph*: BIOMORPH - Level 6 - Internal: Pill, ingestible liquid - Usable: Injector - Effect: Causes the user to gain a mutation: Distinctive and Jackie uses her *Face Morph* we pretend to be guards when others come towards us. As we finally get out, they realise Ono Lectrix is missing and an alarm sounds! A few feet away from us, we see gravity shoot up, shooting rocks with it 30 feet. It's a wellstorm! A weird environmental phenomenon.
