# [[002_20210922 The Other Group]] ## Session Summary As the barbed devil flew past us to take care of the new intruders, we took advantage of the confusion to kill the dwarf. However, we still eventually had to face the devil, who would not take orders from the dwarf (whose appearance I took on). The devil summoned bat-like creatures that swarmed around us and did damage to us. After a joint kill from one of the new strangers, Nether, and Thunu, we reluctantly partnered up with the two new strangers. We got a passphrase and a code, and then entered the final vault thanks to Teorin saying the passphrase. In the large chamber, we found Ignis Uludan, the son of the owner of the Auction House. His father had literally sacrificed his firstborn son to secure the sphere. We let him down, and in his gratitude, he gave us the sphere. Just then, we started to hear the noises of guards making their way into the whole complex. We ran out of the vault, up into a fancy cocktail party, and into the streets of Nicodranas, where I turned on the newcomers and cast Charm Person on them both. However, they both saved, and were able to enthrall or charm us back. In this stalemate, two drow women appeared and offered to give us all a share of the reward. I accepted, changing tactics quickly and recognizing my best way out of the situation. There are two doors made of solid gold, with a slit in the middle. There are no key holes. Just a slit, but the slit is not big enough for a finger. There is a glyph on the door Pale through tortured soul of halls ghouls my carry? Doors open when Teorin says the passphrase. There is a massive room with large marble tiling, with black marble cupboards that are locked with chains. In the center of the room is a creature that looks like he's been tortured. Humanoid.
