We don't hear anything from the elves though. The road has widened. There's now a more obvious path, but it's still a dirt path. We notice there was also a path that avoided the elves' domain. [[Theoc]] said this is Boxridge, the last farmland before we hit Broadhurst. [[N'il]] notices there are goblins lying in wait. With his warning, we are able to surprise the ambushers! They are stink goblins. Theoc suggests we just go through them. We win by killing most of them and scaring the others. We get to Broadhurst and become Local Heroes. We are rewarded by the mayor with Gecko Gloves: they make us unable to slip from climbing. You can't get disarmed. anything you grab will find it hard to escape (bane).
