# 65_20210501 Killing Gibberlings
## Session Summary
We fight the packs of gibberlings that we accidentally catch the attention of, and we learn that they explode when they're bloodied, much like the fire bats. Gibberlings defeated, we look down the cliff and see for the first time the small city of aberrations around the blue crystal we're sure Reona is held captive in. ^summary

## Log
There is a spiral structure (possibly of stone or chitin) around the crystal. The grells are all holding some humanoid or another. They seem to be doing their jobs.
This all looks like an alien fortress. There are walls that are high and well-defended by things that look like nothic plague gazers.
Only Maestro and Invidoo saw this.
[[Gibberling]]s come from [[The Underdark]]. They kill for pleasure and food, and fight to the death. They're like small gorillas. They're drooling and have claws at the end of their humanlike hands that are sharp enough to flay skin from bones.
There are also arcane geysers (blue).
