Cyriac is a green [[Dragonborn]] who is part of the [[Sons of Alagondar]]. I know him from before my entrance into the D&D campaign. [[01_20200919 Ambush at Broken Arrow Taphouse]]
He is an academic who studies the royal lineage. He can tell who is royal and who is not.
He's not much of a fighter at all, and can't take much of a hit before he is down for the count.
He is a historian.
He claims to be descended from a family of sages that's been around since the time of the Alagondars.
His job with the Sons usually involves identifying documents or books before [[Neverember]] gets his hands on them.
## Disappearance
Cyriac was with [[Indigo]] when he was attacked in a safehouse, presumably by the [[Assassin of the Black Bolt]]. According to Indigo in [[82_20210704 Spellscarred]], there was a large white dragon and a bandaged man that were fighting in the room where Cyriac once was. We think that Cyriac turned into a dragon, which is seemingly supported by the fact that Indigo said Cyriac seemed very interested in her shifting abilities and asked her a lot of questions. We also saw three books on dragon eggs that Cyriac was reading.
[[Madame Rosene]] told us that her people noticed there was water dripping from the walls, despite there having been no rain recently. There were ice shards. This is related to [[Assassin of the Black Bolt]]. The assassin himself, Karias Drach, confirmed that he had recently attempted to kill a dragonborn that "turned out to be an actual dragon".
The dragon had a dragon breath that sounded, from Indigo's description, to have some sort of cold property.
[[Keren]] has heard stories of dragons being able to shapeshift, but they haven't done that in centuries.
