# Eraithe Eraithe is a moon elf Eladrin swordmage that I purchased as a slave, along with a silk robe, for the price of 2 pearls at the [[Beached Leviathan]] from [[Ciolo]] (total price 700 gp). ## How We Met I purchased him from Ciolo in [[Neverwinter]], in [[10_20201030 Acquiring Chalk at the Beached Leviathan]]. I was out to buy chalk for the famed [[Neverneath]] of [[Castle Never]], and instead got him. We gave him the nickname Chalk. ## Background As a moon elf, he was part of the line of royalty in his hometown of [[Everreska]] in the [[Feywild]], but he did not want to be a ruler. He wanted to ACT. He wanted to be a [[Mithalar]] guardian, but was sent to the air navy instead. He was separated from his navy. Many of his crew perished, and the others died or were captured as slaves. He may want to find and save them someday. He was enslaved by Captain [[Ciolo]], a pirate and slaver. He wants to return to his home, and I promised I'd help him do so if he helps us as well. ## Characteristics ### Appearance Tall for an elf. I saw a fire in his eyes that convinced me that he hadn't been totally broken yet. ### Religion As eladrin, he worships the entire [[Selderin]] pantheon. However, he personally is partial to [[Sehanine Moonbow]]. ### Truename I acquired his truename in [[11_20201031 Waiting for paint at safehouse]]. It is **eth hom-fey ark-mag seh kalk skla** ### Dreams Has the blue lightning dreams that [[Gloomtoes]], [[Maestro]], and [[Xionerys]] also have. He is a [[Leader (Role)]] and tank, but he does so by absorbing damage magically rather than by being naturally beefy. He can teleport, but it is limited (encounter?). - _Booming Blade_: Move, make a melee attack against an enemy, and then get 5 temp HP for every square moved. - _Lightning Lure_: - _Falcon's Mark_: Attack vs [[Reflex Defense]] that lasts until the target dies or until Eraithe marks another target. If the marked target makes an attack that does not include Eraithe, Eraithe can pull it to him and attack it. ### Aegis The aegis is a magical shield or bubble that Eraithe uses to both absorb damage and retaliate when damaged by foes. ### Weapon proficiencies Proficient with longswords and swords (simple and military, but not martial), something longer than Ka'ira's scimitar. Holds weapons like implements. He currently wields [[The Elven Glass Longsword]], which also acquired a lightning charge since he was affected by the crystal in [[81_20210703 Goodbye Gloomtoes]]. He wants to return the glass longsword to the [[Hall of Justice]], however. ## Family He has brothers and sisters, but they haven't spoken in a while. There's definitely a story here.
