Faction inspiration is based on [[13th Age#Icons]]. When we get to milestones in the story, we roll a d6 for every faction we are linked to. For every 6 we roll, we get the chance to ask for something specific from our faction without any negative consequence. For every 5 we roll, we get the chance to ask for something, but it might come in a different form from what we expect, or with an unforeseen circumstance or added complication.
