Also known as "Temple of Oghma". It is located in the city of [[Neverwinter]], on the west side of the Neverwinter river. It is said that the Temple of Oghma contains a library in the underground ruins, but it won't be easy to spot the entrance. ![](assets/1622579373_187.JPG) The group first saw the Temple of Oghma in [[03_20200925 Solving the riddles of Oghma]], when they fled from the ambush at the [[Broken Arrow Taphouse]]. The Temple of Oghma is a safehouse used by the [[Sons of Alagondar]]. The Temple is dedicated to [[Oghma]], god of knowledge, and still contains many statues, sculptures, and paintings depicting Oghma's fight against those who would suppress knowledge. The Temple also contained cubbyholes with thousands of scrolls and books. However, most of the Temple lies in ruins due to the [[ttrpgs/Order of the Wandering Mind/Mount Hotenow eruption]]. The Temple is in the shape of a fork with three tines, and with a circular chamber in the center. The circular chamber contains the main statue of Oghma as well as busts around it. There are also the remnants of eight status on the rafters above, although the ceiling is exposed to the sky. ## Inside the temple - There are three rooms inside the Temple: - A small room with cracked walls and charred wood everywhere - A bigger room that looks like it used to be a bedroom - A third room that looks like it may have been a study. - In the third room, there were bits of papers that held riddles. Upon answering them, [[The Order of the Wandering Mind]] discovered that the entrance to the underground library had been opened, and lay underneath the statue of Oghma in the main chamber. - The entrance to the mythical library is hidden beneath the statue of Oghma. To open it, one must answer the riddles on the scraps of paper in the third room. Then, the statue slides to one side, revealing a staircase. The [[Library of Oghma]] is underneath. - Outside, there is a southern courtyard that used to have statues, and now holds only a belltower. The bell still works and must be used by pulling on a piece of string.
