# Maestro Maestro is a monk/ardent called "The Windwalker" [[96_20211106 The new leader of the Sons of Alagondar#^a62799|by some]] due to his ability to move with the wind. ## Mechanics - Class:: [[Hybrid]] [[Monk]] and [[Ardent]] - source of magic: Psionic - Role: [[Striker (Role)]] - Race: Human - Played By:: [[Kyan]] ## How We Met In [[01_20200919 Ambush at Broken Arrow Taphouse]], he was with the dragonborn [[Ka'ira]], who went to meet [[Cyriac]] and other members of the [[Sons of Alagondar]]. He told me that [[Ka'ira]] is his sister, which immediately made me think that he may also be a descendant of the [[Alagondar]] line. He seemed confused as to why I was protecting him, though, so perhaps he doesn't yet know that Ka'ira is of royal blood (and so is he, potentially). ## Appearance Bald, wearing traveller's clothes except for his fancy boots. He is fidgety and his fingertips and eyes glow red like his handaxe, which looks like it's permanently stained in blood. ## Backstory - Mentor: [[Father Tyson]] - Sister: [[Ka'ira]] Maestro has a big chip on his shoulder from being responsible for the death of his mentor, Father Tyson. He sacrificed Father Tyson in the hopes of stopping a [[Glabrezu]], because that's what he thought Father Tyson would do. However, the demon killed Father Tyson and then was released anyway. Maestro feels strongly responsible for the death of the person he thought was his father, and is looking for a way to continue Father Tyson's legacy. There is a lot about Maestro's past that he does not know. For example, he has always felt some sort of kinship with the [[Ice Phase Spider]], and in [[87_20210814 Harvesting the Spider]] he revealed that he had harvested many phase spiders before. These incidents suggest that he is fey in origin and may have increased teleporting abilities later. ## Strengths - [[Dexterity (Dex)]] - physical combat, with or without weapons - Can do some healing through his Ardent abilities - Painting or drawing - Reconnaissance (thanks to his stealth and his familiar, Lydia) ## Character Lawful good, and strongly principled.
