# Mount Hotenow eruption A long time after [[ttrpgs/Order of the Wandering Mind/The Spellplague]], in the year 1445, the volcano [[Mount Hotenow]] erupted, causing quite a bit of damage to two areas in particular: - [[Thundertree]], which was destroyed completely - [[Neverwinter]], which was damaged significantly but not totally destroyed. - The eruption killed the [[Alagondar]] line in Neverwinter (or so it is believed) in a rain of lava. - It is suspicious that the eruption decimated Thundertree and damaged Neverwinter, but not any of the surrounding cities. - Portals between [[Castle Never]] and Mount Hotenow appeared during our exploration of the castle. -
