# The Kraken Tunnels The headquarters of the [[Sons of Alagondar]], [[The Nashers]] faction. The tunnels were originally created by [[The Kraken Society]], a group of slavers, but were requisitioned into the headquarters of [[The Nashers]] until they were betrayed by [[Dead Rats]]. It turns out that there _was_ a kraken living there, but it was a pet of the Nashers' leader, [[Arlon Bladeshaper]]. The kraken's name was [[Bubbles]]. The Kraken Tunnels was flooded over after we set Arlon and the other Nashers free and ran out of the [[Neverwinter Sewers]]. ## Locations ### Map ```leaflet id: kraken-tunnels image: Kraken Tunnels - map.jpg height: 450px minZoom: 6 maxZoom: 10 defaultZoom: 7 zoomDelta: 1 unit: feet scale: 1 ``` ### Entrance [[The Kraken Tunnels#Map|Back to the map]] - There is a valve that must be spun in a certain combination, like a vault lock. - There are arrow slits on the north walls, 15 feet high. left and right side of the door. ### Guard Room [[The Kraken Tunnels#Map|Back to the map]] - It's a 15 x 15 room and a metal door that is closed. 15 feet up from the floor is a battlement and people can stand there for fighting advantage. - There is a cylindrical metallic thing in the center like a guard construct: a Chain Guardian - The floor here has metal plates (5-foot plates) on top of the stone. They don't seem to be welded - they're just placed on top. Ka'ira lifts one up. The floor is about a foot thick, and beneath the floor she sees water. The plates cover holes. They look like they haven't been touched in a while. ### Weapons Room [[The Kraken Tunnels#Map|Back to the map]] Collection of mundane weapons. [[Cyla]] used to work here, making sure that all the weapons were well-maintained. ### Meeting Room [[The Kraken Tunnels#Map|Back to the map]] Door to the meeting room opens southwards. There are chairs that were knocked down. There are maps that are blood-stained and some of them are cut by the battle. But there is a crude map of Neverwinter. Some areas are encircled. There are tokens on the floor and on the table. It's a massive map, 10 feet long. ### Cage Room [[The Kraken Tunnels#Map|Back to the map]] There are people inside the cages. They look like Nashers who have been in a fight. There's no obvious lock on the cage or opening. ### Bubbles Room [[The Kraken Tunnels#Map|Back to the map]] There is a medallion that [[Cyla]] had that fits into the entrance to this room. On the right, there is a platform on top of a well. - Inside the well is water roiling heavily and there is a man dressed like one of the Nashers who is flailing inside the well. Most of the metal plates here are in disarray. - There are stairs leading up to the platform on one side - there are two ways to get up of the platform, apparently. one here and one from the meeting room. - There's destroyed rope by the well.
