In the [[Vault of the Nine]], we learned that there are nine people whose task it is to defend the [[Alagondar]] line. Their bodies lie in coffins in the Vault, along with a corresponding statue. [[The Ioxian League Obelisk in Castle Never]] can be used to redirect power to bring them back, and they are usually awakened in times of great need for the Alagondar. They were warriors of different races that worked together towards the end of [[Nash Alagondar]]'s reign to repel various invasions. They consented to having their souls bound to statues by high mages, also of different races, to protect the Alagondar line when necessary. Bound to statues by - [[Zeraiah]] - [[Yaro]] - [[Destrian]], the deacon - [[Ogast]], from [[The Arcane Brotherhood]] The power used to bind the Nine is mainly dwarven, with elven highlights. ## [[Galadim]] Dragonborn paladin in full metal armor with a visor down, wielding a spiked shield and spiked gauntlet. Standing at attention. ## [[Thraid]] Hooded figure (in cloak) can't see the face. Arms are inside the sleeves so we can't see them either. Small reptile on its shoulder. Looks like a small dragon. "Thraid". ## [[Hallok]] Dragonborn that is lightly armored in a ready pose holding a falchion. Defending pose. Looks like he's wearing furs or hides, but half bare-chested. His posture and snarl makes him look fierce. Coffin has a carved relief of the same dragonborn. Name: "Hallok" ## [[Barion]] Half human and half giant: a goliath. Flowing hair carved on the armor and wielding a great axe as if about to strike. Heavily armored but not in plate armor: metal armor. That is unusual for goliaths because they usually prefer lighter armor because they are close to nature. They are clannish and strong. It's also strange for one to be serving a human settlement. "Barion". ## [[Lubash]] Bear's hide on his head with tusks. Larger than normal snake coiling on the floor beside him as if ready to strike. He's shouting and his hands are behind him holding a battleaxe and throwing hammer. Lubash. Half-orc" ## [[Thrinnar]] Bearded human with one side shaved. Weird runes. Wearing chainmail, holding mace and shield. One the chainmail, it looks like runes were replicated on it - not magical but just replicated. "Thrinnar". ## [[Ravonn]] Female eladrin wielding a longsword and one hand is holding an imaginary shield. "Ravonn". ## [[Nalak]] Human spiked shield and sword. "Nalak". ## [[Saebold]] Dragonborn in chainmail armor wielding chain and spiked shield. It's pointing forward as if to attack. "Saebold".
