# [[047_20220426 All the spell interactions]] ## Session Summary > [!tldr] [[047_20220426 All the spell interactions]] > We killed the dragonborn bard (after Wally made him dance his own dirge), Milla dropped _sleet storm_, and we all went after the elf, who was still holding the book. Xenia put her in a _momentary stasis_, incapacitating her, just as the Crownsguard began to walk towards us to investigate the commotion. Wally convinced them that they'd been trying to rob us, and that we had stopped them. > > Milla cast _detect thoughts_ and, while probing, learned that she genuinely feared for her own life as she thought about what The Gentleman was going to do with her. She also learned that the elf thought The Gentleman believed he was also on the list. > > I cast _invisibility_ on myself and Milla gave me the book, and I fell back and hid. Reya went running up the roof to get to the elf, but Xenia's _hold person_ got to her first. He doesn't succeed, but tries again. - Reya - Xenia: Momentary Stasis - Scura - Move and Dash - Round 5 - Milla: Casts Dusk - Elf can't do anything - Wally grabs the book from the elf and gives it to Milla. He goes towards the Crownsguard who are approaching to try to convince them not to attack us - Reya: Goes towards Crownsguard - Xenia: - Scura: Invisibility, and gets the book - Round 6 - Milla: Gives me the book, casts Detect Thoughts on the elf. - Elf is afraid about what The Gentleman will do to her and says "Where is [[Female Dwarven Getaway Driver]] (?)" ^f64157 - Tiefling asks her why the Gentleman wants the book, and the elf thinks that he wants it because there's information about him in it. - Elf tries to break out of her bonds and fails. - Wally tells the Crownsguard that we stopped a robbery. They seem to believe him and go towards us (and the elf). - Reya: Hides - Xenia: Casts _message_ to Milla to tell her he'd like some of the elf's blood for the blood candle. - Scura: Move, and Action to hide (Stealth 23) + BA to Harness Divine Power to regain a spell slot of up to Level 2 - Round 7 - Milla: Draws blood on the elf and does 7 piercing damage - Elf: Teleports onto the nearby rooftop - Wally: Talks to Crownsguard. He and the Skinny Crownsguard (helped by Bobby the Crownsguard) try to climb. Skinny manages it. - Reya: Runs across the roof and just waits for the elf at the bottom - Xenia: *Hold Person* on the elf. She fails. - Me: *Vigilant Blessing* on myself
