# [[066_20221011 The tiefling releases the elephant]] ![[twc-049.png]] ## Session Summary > [!tldr] [[066_20221011 The tiefling releases the elephant]] > Trying to fulfill the specifics of his curse, Wally attempted to give Auntie Frieda Pigmouth back her ring, but Nanny Filthtouch grabbed it back from him. Pigmouth convinced the other two to perform the ritual to let her back into the coven, which they reluctantly began to do, in order to keep us from having what she referred to as The Ring of Red Fury. > > Faced now with THREE hags, we pulled out all stops to kill first Pigmouth, then Nanny, and finally Granny. During the course of the battle, Granny turned into a large subterranean lizard, Wally put the Ring of Red Fury on, and Milla released a huge elephant. At one point, Wally was swallowed by the lizard, only to be healed by a clutch spell by Scura. With Xenia, Reya, and Milla pouring on the damage, the final blow was struck by Wally, who killed Granny with his morning star and a Divine Smite. ^summary --- ## Recap ![[065_20221004 The tongue rots, the mouth pigs#^summary]] --- ## Log - Round 5 - Wally - Goes to give the ring back to [[Auntie Frieda Pigmouth]] - [[Nanny Filthtouch]] - Grabs the ring from Wally and tries to go, but Wally stops her with Sentinel. - Me - Move - Hide - Pigmouth - "They (pointing to us) stole the [[Ring of Red Fury]]. You have pledged, Metora Greencloak, you know your power comes from the Coven. Rottentongue's power isn't enough." - She starts saying: *One is three and Three is one*. Nanny and Pigmouth are chanting it. [[Granny Pustreat]] at first is not convinced, then starts chanting again. - Xenia - Magic Missile: 2 to Nanny (but she shields herself with this doll she holds up and it gets flung back on Xenia), 1 to Granny. - Reya - Hits Nanny Filthtouch. 24 piercing, 7 thunder. - Milla - Chromatic Orb! - Regains all expended sorcery points - Round 6 - Granny - Pulls out a lizard from a vial, swallows it whole. She grows, filling the cavern. She is a subterranean lizard. She's about 15 feet taller than we are. - Wally - Grabs the ring from Nanny AND PUTS IT ON!! - Nanny - Casts Eyebite. Wally succeeds though! - Me - *Cure Wounds* on Xenia. 9 HP - Move - Xenia - *Shocking Grasp*. 9 lightning damage. - Reya - Hits with a rapier. 13 damage + 1 fire, 4 damage to the lizard (Granny). Nanny slumps to the ground! - (Each of the hags has a ring.) - Milla - Release the elephant! - Elephant misses. - Round 7 - Granny-lizard - 32 piercing to Wally, grappled, restrained - Wally - Made a successful death save. - Me - A: Aura of Vitality1 - BA: Heal Wally for 11. He's back up! - Pigmouth - Tries to attack me, but my Sanctuary causes her to attack Xenia instead. She misses, anyway! - Xenia - *Shocking Grasp*. 7 lightning damage. - Reya - 29 damage! - Milla - Chromatic Orb, Level 3. 28 cold damage to the lizard!! The lizard disappears, and Granny is back. - Elephant misses :( - Round 8 - Granny - *Maddening cackle*, DC 19. 7 points of psychic to me and Reya. Everyone else takes 15. Wally attacks Reya. :( - Wally - Me - A: Cure Wounds - BA: AoV2 heal - Pigmouth hits Xenia. He's down again. - Xenia makes a death save - Reya: Struggles with something. 10 piercing, 6 thunder damage TO WALLY. Moves into Twilight Sanctuary but something (Pigmouth) shoves her out again. - Elephant's held reaction hits Granny - - Milla: - Elephant - Round 9 - Me - AoV3 heal on Wally - Dodge action - Pigmouth: tries to attack me, Sanctuary causes her to miss. She hits Wally instead and misses. - Xenia: Rolls a death save - Reya: Attacks Pigmouth but misses. - Milla: Chromatic Orb. 26 cold damage on Pigmouth!!! - Elephant: misses Granny. - Round 10 - Granny: Knocks Wally unconscious. His strength is reduced by 1. - Wally: makes a private death save - Me: - BA: AoV4 on Wally - A: Potion of Healing on Xenia - TS is 8 this round - Pigmouth: Misses Wally. Moves and Reya gets an attack of opportunity, knocks her unconscious! - Xenia: Stands up. Misses on Fire Bolt. - Reya: Misses on Granny unfortunately. :( - Milla: Frostbite. 12 cold damage. - Elephant: Misses Granny. - Round 11 - Granny - Fireball DC 15. Scura, Milla, Xenia succeed (18). Elephant fails (36). I use *Absorb Elements* to gain resistance and take only 9 temp HP. Xenia is unconscious. - Wally reacts: *Rebuke the Violent* - Moves away and takes a reaction from Reya. 18 damage total! - Wally - Attack with morning star + smite on Granny! Wally kills her!! I did my remaining 6 heals on Xenia, Wally, and Milla To our east there is a huge stone door flanked by candles.
