We gave her some of the evidence indicting Kai Arness as a collaborator of the Jagentoths, and we also told her about the Asmodeus connection. We had one last night with them to celebrate the lives of Erelith and Zara. > > The next morning, the tieflings (including Music) and Halkin said goodbye. Music gave me a ring. It's much cuter after being an evil demon sword. Alice and her partner [[Emille Rifton]] have always known about Veronica; they just didn't want to out her. They are more than happy to help out. Veronica says maybe Alice. #### Meeting Telva at the Buzz Market We all go to the [[Buzz Market]] and see [[Telva Cornwrath]]. This is a little shady. She has a wicker basket and she has a shopping list. She goes to a market stall selling trinkets. The female dwarven seller with red braids goes away to get a hot drink from someone else. Telva ignores us for a bit, but then starts speaking surreptitiously to us. I hint about [[Kai Arness|Goldfang]]. She asks us to follow her. We tell her about Goldfang paying for [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/The Jagentoth Family|Jagentoth]] slaves and the fact that they were worshipping [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Asmodeus|Asmodeus]]. We give her some of the letters, the Asmodeus book, and the tiefling book. She gives us gold. She gives us some of the papers back as insurance. She says not to trust anyone from [[The Dwendalian Empire|The Empire]]. She says we shouldn't even trust *her*, in case she's compromised. She thinks [[The Cobalt Soul]] are at least better than [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/The Cerberus Assembly|The Cerberus Assembly]]. She thinks the Cobalt Soul's hearts are in the right place. The Assembly are a group of mages that were originally established to stop the social order in the empire unravelling, but now it's a force of political and military power. [[King Bertrand Dwendal]] himself is somewhat afraid. ^2b4f7b - "[[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Trent Ikithon]]" and "[[The Martinet]]" from the Assembly are hard to read at best, selfish at worst. ^738ec4 She hasn't heard of [[Dragon Isle]] since she was a child-- it's of a dragon living on an island floating in the sky. [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Desirat|Desirat]] was [[Asmodeus]]'s steed. She has been isolated for hundreds of years. No one really knows whether she's exiled beneath [[The Cyrios Mountains]]. it's just a myth. ^84db76 We warn her that there's someone in the Empire trying to cause or fan the flames of the war with the Kryn - [[The Ninth Revelation]] was trying to stop the Empire from sending reinforcements to [[Ashguard Garrison]]. If the Garrison falls, [[Nogvurot]] is next on the list. She says she's not sure what to do with this information. I give [[Wally]] the 300 gp. #### The Slave Shed tieflings [[Riven]], [[Isolde]], [[Kael]] come back to [[Calm Lily Inn]]. Isolde is kind of the leader. Kael doesn't like coffee and connects with [[Daxemalinda Duppelan|Dax]] about it. He mentions [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Palebank Village|Palebank Village]]. [[Karmilla Duskbloom]] says she likes tea more than coffee. [[Celeste]] seems to be a bit better, though wary of Halkin. We do a toast to remember [[Erelith]] and [[Zara]]. --- [[Wally]] gets inspiration at the start of the next two days (after this downtime) --- ### 27 Cuersaar #### Goodbye [[Music]] says goodbye. I give her one of the *Sending Stones*. In return, she gives me a ring she's had ever since I've known her. It's woven of brass and copper. It wasn't valuable enough that it was taken off when she was captured. Wally says it never occurred to him. He chose Raei early on when she appeared to him. Maybe The Luxon will cross his path later on. I say that we need to do something about his visions and voices, but he just says we need to be patient and wait for Raei to provide or some shit. I ask him what happens if you're patient and good, but you still don't get what you want. He says he already has what he wants: us. The Temporary White Circle. We go get a drink. Wally tells Milla Floyd sends her his love (those were his exact words). Milla just says "Okay." He tells her that Floyd is a man of faith now. She just says "Okay." She's worried because she expected [[Archivist Adon Zeenoth|Zeenoth]] to come with us tomorrow morning. She was expecting him to [[The Shrine of Ioun]] today. Also, Telmyr says [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Ioun|Ioun]] wrong. She says in the old Elvish dialect, it's "EE-YOON". Xenia knows there was a flying city of [[Aeor]]. But it's not the same as the floating island of [[Dragon Isle]]. Wally gives everyone 60 gp. Wally tells me I can't spend this on other people. I have to spend it on myself. I need to buy something with it. We can talk about it if it's for him. Xenia needs a golden vial.
