We set off for the Wuyun Gates with Brialle Evenwind and her two Crownsguard companions, the vengeful Borkûl and quiet Dungarth. > > Along the way, we were met by other Crownsguard who were dubious about our capabilities, but did give us the valuable information that we were up against not just the two giants but also some wolves and a couple of ogres they'd scrounged up as reinforcements. [[Loch Ward General]] is a general store. - [[Harper Mince]], older woman - Lumber, nails, lots of other things, nets [[Hill's Bridge Parchment and Binding]] ([[The Hill Ward]]). - [[Sheena Amancy]], an older man, dark skin, brown eyebrows. We go to [[The Loch Ward]], [[Natural Remedies]] - [[Simon Earth]]. - Pungent smell of fungi even from outside. - Shelves and shelves of flora and fauna, glass bottles of dried things, herbs, fungi growing along the shelves. - Ratty, clustered hair, naturally dyed clothes, bloodshot eyes, tan skin - Half elf - [[Oolah Tea]] - [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Suude|Suude]] has to be burned. - Things are in slow motion and you see all these colors - Something else can be in tea or chewed. We see the weave of time and go into the ethereal plane. - Makes you feel sick to start with. - Of course we totally get five servings. - Potion of Underwater Breathing - green with jellyfish floating in it. - Healer's kit It's about 09:30 now. [[Biralle Evenwind]] comes with a dwarf named [[Borkûl]] and a dark-skinned quiet human Crownsguard called [[Dungarth]]. Dungarth is stoic and doesn't want to talk much. Borkûl wants to take revenge on the giants. We set off for [[The Wuyun Gates]]. Wally puts on a [[Cap of Thorns]] and actually takes some damage. - Wooden circlet with thorns that meld into his scalp - 5 points of piercing damage - Apparently we got it off one of the dead cultists? - He can't take it off!! WTF it's totally a curse. - You can sacrifice one HP per level you have to cast a special kind of *Entangle* spell. - I definitely need to remove this curse. As we set off, we have the [[Verstglade Mountains]] that are part of the [[Ashkeeper Peaks]] on the east and [[The Cyrios Mountains]] on the west. We start to smell something disgusting and realise we've stepped into a giant's footprint. We think someone's watching us, and it turns out to be some [[The Crownsguard|Crownsguard]]. Biralle calls them. They recognise her. One gnome Crownsguard calls her "boss". The giants are eating anything and anyone and have camped out at the gate. They've gotten a few more reinforcements-- ogres. One with a crossbow the size of a ballista, and another with a big chain that swings about. They think the giants are just hungry-- they didn't really want the key. They think we should be stealthy now. We get to [[The Wuyun Gates]]. The giants are definitely not good people. They were eating people and horses! Their voices are so low that we feel the tremors from them. Dax repeats that she has a boat whenever we want to use it...
