During the fight, Faelee joined us from the other direction (north) with her friend Nika, who brought some tidings from Dax. She said that Dax had decided to go to Nicodranas via Kamordah, and that Dax had given Nika the Bag of Fullstuffery to give to us. > > Nika turned out to be Milla's friend from the Feywild, and several meaningful looks were shared between them despite neither of them really sharing much more than that they had met in the Feywild where time was wonky. Faelee led us out the other entrance and told us what she knew about Vuthos: that there was an enormous, huge forge outside the city that we should watch out for. After some time, she left us to our own devices, but Nika stayed behind to help us find the way. We eventually came to a patch of pebbles that just looked off, and it turned out to be an illusion hiding a pit with a gelatinous cube waiting inside it. She is a human woman in her mid 20s. 5'+ ("not that tall"), brown hair, dressed in shades of brown, orange, green. Two swords and a bow. Xenia investigates the body of [[Lyari Errenath]] and finds: - a magical red scepter - pendant of a phoenix - keys - 47 gp - On the inside of her robes (which are crimson and wine-coloured with silver edging): the lining is embroidered In the pockets of the guard: clay pipe and 7 gp. The robes I got are quite dusty, like they haven't been used for a few months to a year. New girl looked at MIlla with confusion. Milla knows the new girl too. Calls her Veronika. Positive feelings there. Nika needs to get a giant's beard. They met in the Feywild. She was there for a long time, though she only remembers being there for a short time. Nika also feels like she was there for a short time and also a long time. I see a fleeting expression on Milla's face as if she just remembered something. Xenia investigates the circle. He sees the name of [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Desirat|Desirat]] in the runes. He steps inside the circle to see if anything happens, but nothing does. [[Faelee Embersense|Faelee]] (and Nika) lead us out the other entrance. Faelee said Dax stayed behind to help clean up the damage and then go back to [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Nicodranas|Nicodranas]] via [[Kamordah]]. :( She gave us Dax's bag of Fullstuffery. She tells us to watch out for the "enormous, huge forge" that the fire giants will have outside their city of [[Vuthos]]. Nika is leading us now, looking for Vuthos. She smells of cinnamon and apples. Xenia casts light and we hear bugs skittering away from it. I spot a spot of 10 feet that looks different from the rest of the stones around it. Xenia casts *Awakened spellbook* and determines that it's an illusion. We look for a place to take a long rest. I cast *Tiny Hut* on a little bend in the tunnel. There are purple crystals sticking to the walls. The spectral Zeenoth thinks the crystals are very valuable. Xenia casts *Detect magic* and then *Identify* on the items we found. These are magical: - Scepter: +1 mace. Head of it is plated with some red, anodized material. - Key: *Infiltrator's Key*, given to Nika Decide: - Who gets the key? - Who gets the scepter? Short rest for everyone but Scura. Purplish jelly is moving down the wall, wtf.
