She and Scura didn't know each other, but Scura was happy to find someone from home. Merilda's faith in Sehanine seemed shaken, and it didn't help when Scura's divine intervention failed. She also mentioned that her brother was one of Wally's Dreambois, and Wally had to tell her he didn't make it. Still, she told us that there were four main people in charge. She said they'd made a deal with the Fire King. > > Wally, Xenia, and Nika put on cultists' robes to match Scura and Milla, and then made a plan to capture one alive. While our disguises didn't really fool anyone, we did manage to manacle one of them, whom Wally did persuade to tell him that Desirat's bonds will be broken once the mages find the energy. We also caught the attention of another pair of cultists, one of which was Lady Floella Hemsworth, but all dolled up in a Britney-esque red PVC bodysuit... until Xenia's Wand of Wonders turned her skin blue. > > Milla turned accidentally murderous, killing a tiefling victim, and the resulting Wild Magic Surge conjured a doppelganger out of nowhere, looking exactly like the dead tiefling. Nika took the brunt of some attacks from the cultists, particularly a Hold Person that left her temporarily paralysed. Lady Floella turned invisible, but Scura saw through it enough to tell Wally, who charged in looking for her in the area Scura had indicated. I'm very spoiled now, but gorgeous art makes it such an immersive experience. This Hellfire Prison map is so pretty. ⭐ The idea of all of us wearing red robes and fooling no one. ⭐ Milla/Lulu accidentally (?) killing a fellow tiefling. Oops. ⭐ Giving NPCs names to tell them apart, and then hearing everyone say those names forevermore. So entertaining. ⭐ Getting the doppelganger in combat was so cool and unexpected! 🪄 It had done something before leaving! Imagine if on its turn, we rolled to see whether it fought with us or against us. :D So much chaos! ⭐ The Floella Hemsworth reveal, and then the immediate Wand of Wonders-inspired blue ruining her look immediately. :joy: ⭐ See Invisibility coming in handy. It's nice when an *Always prepared* spell is actually useful. ⭐ The reveal at the end!
