It's an evil artifact that [[067_20221018 All the loot and nowhere to spend it#^0db67d|could plunge the world into darkness]]. [[The Council of Veluthil]] organized protectors for it to stop that from happening: - [[The Corrupted Coven]] - [[The Three Guardians]] However, something must have happened anyway, because its corruption spread regardless. It corrupted the Coven, and it corrupted the surrounding forest of [[Veluthil Forest]]. This may have something to do with the fact that [[Granny Pustreat]] told us [[Auntie Frieda Pigmouth]] had "broken the seal". We've been warned by [[Archivist Adon Zeenoth|Archivist Zeenoth]] that we shouldn't try to touch it directly. There's an [[Ultraloth]] named [[Ciria]] living inside it! but not anymore... Grovelthrash was destroyed by [[Aygonath]]. ## How we found out about it We found a notebook in [[058_20220726 Revenge of the Death Butterflies#^cf1824]], while we were in [[Blighted Hollow]], that mentioned a vestige in conjunction with notes that gave us the following information: - the word *Grovelthrash* - `Odeos`, whatever that means. [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Asmodeus]]? - something about consecration - it's in or from [[Caes Mosor]] - Protected by [[The Three Guardians]] The weapon itself is a war hammer with a hook on the back and a multifaceted shaft. ## Abilities Grovelthrash (and Ciria inside it) takes pleasure in harming others, and causes its wielder to eventually take the same pleasure. When awakened or exalted, it will be able to burrow through solid rock and destroy as much as it can, freeing [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Quajath|Quajath]]. It's possible Grovelthrash was already causing the [[Investigate underground rumbling|earthquakes]].
