# [[Karmilla Duskbloom]] *Milla* ![[milla.png]] Milla has light blue skin, long white hair, and two sets of horns decorated with jewelry. She has dark eyes-- dark sclera with purple irises. She has white freckles and wears a dark blue dress. She is a follower of [[Sehanine]]. ![[twc-milla.png]] ## Backstory She is from [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Palebank Village|Palebank Village]]. She is both a tiefling and a [[Runechildren]], things whose origins are unknown. Her being a Runechild was one of the reasons she had to leave her home. [[Runechildren]] are persecuted. She had to run away from home and went into [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/The Feywild|The Feywild]] for a while (she's not sure how long). Then, she somehow found her way back here. She said that she doesn't really know other tieflings, although she knows that they originally come from [[The Nine Hells]]. ### Her family She doesn't know what happened to her father, but [[Pin Dunstorm]] asked her if she was related to one of the explorers that went to [[Veluthil Forest]]. She loved her mother, [[Aelinor Duskbloom]], a half-elf. Her father was a tiefling like her. She had a brother, but she was afraid that he died trying to help her get out. [[Aelinor Duskbloom]] is Milla's mother. Milla seems to love her mother, but her mother doesn't sound like she was the best mother possibly. She used to speak *Elvish* with Milla's brother so that Milla wouldn't understand. [[Andriel Duskbloom]] is Milla's (half-)brother. He was very close to Milla, and older than her only by a few years. Milla has always been afraid that he died trying to protect her or help her escape. ![[twc-compass-for-milla.png]] *Scura's Winter's Crest gift to Milla: a compass pointing north* ## Personality - [[OGAS framework]] - *Goal*: - To not be an outsider. To belong. - To feel safe enough (from being hunted) that she can let her guard down and let people in. - To find out what happened to her parents? To find family. - *Attitude*: Aloof, awkwardly charming - *Stake*: The hint of finding out something about her past or her family, even if it's from a bad guy like [[Mesa|Ilbane]] - [[Ideals Bonds Flaws]] - *Ideals*: Freedom, hedonism - *Bonds*: - Likes [[Wally]], even though she doesn't admit it. - *Flaws*: - She falls into hedonism when given the chance. - She gets close to insignficant people like paid companions and [[Floyd Hemsworth|Crownsguard Douche]], but is maddeningly frosty with actually decent and worthwhile people like [[Wally]]. - She can be manipulative when she wants to be. - [[Character Alignment]]: chaotic good - [[Magic the Gathering Colors]]: Red ## Knives ### Things the tiefling likes - Holding her horns when she's nervous. - Luxurious experiences like four-hands treatments and bubble baths. - Men who don't always treat her right. - [[Wally]]: hit her that one time. - [[Floyd Hemsworth|Floyd]]: is racist against elves and half-elves. Does he know her mother's one? - The tiefling is an [[080_20230307 Zone of Music#^763cab|equal opportunity eater]]. - Tea, not coffee. - Fear, as told to [[Apeilon]]: That people will eventually catch up to her. That her brother died because he helped her. ### Things the tiefling doesn't like - Meeting new people. It makes her nervous. - People speaking in Elvish or any other language she doesn't understand around her. She's alluded to the fact that she experienced this too much growing up. - Being hunted down and sought after because she's a [[Runechildren|Runechild]]. - Talking about her time in the Feywild ## How I can help Milla - Keep her safe - Help her find out more about [[Aelinor Duskbloom]] and her father, a tiefling explorer in [[Veluthil Forest]]. - Give her the opportunity to enjoy luxurious things. - Encourage her to let her guard down around [[Wally]]. - Scare away people who just want to take advantage of her, like [[Floyd Hemsworth|Crownsguard Douche]]. - Help her not feel like an outsider. ## WTF is up with that? - [ ] What do you know about [[Aelinor Duskbloom|your mother]]? Is she alive? - [ ] Why do you push everyone away who might care about you, and give your affection to those who don't deserve it? - [ ] Do you know how your father became a tiefling? Is he alive? - [ ] [[060_20220816 His last quest#^bfd088|I sent you a note]], once... did you know it was from me? ## Playing the tiefling Stuff for when I occasionally play the tiefling when her player is not around! :) HP: 48/48 Spell slots 1st - [ ] 1 - [ ] 2 - [ ] 3 - [ ] 4 2nd - [x] 1 - [ ] 2 - [ ] 3 3rd - [ ] 1 - [ ] 2 - [ ] 3 4th - [ ] 1 - [ ] 2 ### Essence Runes - All runes start out as inert. - At the end of a turn, a number of essence runes equal to the number of sorcery points spent become charged. - Once expended, they become inert again. - Bonus action: charge essence runes by spending sorcery points (1:1), minimum of 1 if no charged runes or sorcery points - When 5 or more runes are charged, you emity bright light in a 5 foot radius and dim light for an additional 5.
