First stop is to sell the Asmodeus ring somehow because spell components are expensive at this level. 🪄 What poisons could I make? I have proficiency with a poisoner's kit. What's the state of the Elves and the mass diaspora from the Grove? How can we maintain our identity when we've lost our home? Can the Grove be restored? Should it be, or is it a good thing that we've had to leave? - Who were Scura's parents? It never mattered in The Pallid Grove because of the communal setup, but after witnessing Kai and Nika's relationship and having reconnected Milla with her mother and brother, I can't help but wonder. Were they old-fashioned xenophobic elves? Adventurers like Scura? - Get Merilda to safety with the Elves in [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Port Damali|Port Damali]]. > [!question] > Why would they do this with the TWC? What do they need from the others to help them with this? - The TWC helped Scura save Music, and they've all (especially Wally) saved Scura's life multiple times. She'll never stop owing them for that, and she'll not let them go charging off into danger without her. - The restoration of the Pallid Grove is a large undertaking and I don't even know where to begin. [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Torog|Torog]] was mixed up in this and it's likely that some high-level magic would be needed to restore the Grove if it's even possible-- Scura couldn't do that without the TWC. Maybe Xenia and Milla can help. - Sometimes Scura feels unmoored. Wally's faith in his Everlight and unwavering sense of justice is grounding. Without him, and the rest of the party to keep her accountable, she feels too easily swayed by individuals (like The Gentlemen). > [!question] > Knowing the danger ahead, what knowledge are they pursuing that motivates them to charge into this danger? - The fact that she inadvertently helped send the shard of [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Asmodeus|Asmodeus]] back to [[The Nine Hells]]-- something the world may suffer for. She's not going to leave without helping to clean that up. - They're going into the Cyrios Mountains, which means Scura might get some clues about what's happened to the Pallid Grove/Elves. - She'd like to find a way to be able to worship Sehanine as openly as she can Pelor. Maybe if she did something great in Sehanine's name, Sehanine would be seen as a goddess worthy of worship across the Empire. > [!question] > Are there any NPCs (either already met or in their backstory) that they want to meet and speak to? Why? - Music: Duh. But also, she's the epitome of everything Scura is not and feels she can't be. Coloured and vibrant where Scura is pale, brave and different when Scura's been compliant all her life. Openly joyful where Scura is all shame. - Piro: He's her oldest friend, one she misses a lot. He brings a lot of fun and levity to Scura's life when she gets too serious. He's the closest thing to a brother she's ever had. - Just other Elves so she can get an idea of the state of her people, as spread out as they are. > [!question] > Are there any relationships to gods or beliefs that your PC will want to explore? - Panreligion. :) - How to make some big discovery or do a great deed in Sehanine and Raei's name so that she can challenge people's biases against worshipping "unlawful" gods. - The relationship between Pelor and Sehanine and Raei maybe? How can she help Wally with his [[The New Church of Raei]] and go further than that?
