# [[Starosta Emma Zezbok]] Starosta Emma Zezbok is the political leader of [[Hupperdook]]. She lives/works in [[The Primator Palace]]. Scura met Starosta Zezbok in [[018_20210914 Joining the Temporary White Circle]] when the party delivered the [[Filigree Fox]] to her from [[Starosta Wossathic]] in [[Odessloe]]. She, at first, was inclined to punish the party for having opened correspondence to her. However, when Scura pointed out that the poison in the box containing the Filigree Fox was of drow origin, Starosta Zezbok changed her tune. It seems she had long disliked Starosta Wossathic, and suspected the [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Kryn Dynasty|Kryn Dynasty]] had been paying him off. She is seriously concerned about the war and how it will affect her city. Hupperdook has enjoyed some independence from [[The Dwendalian Empire]], but now that the war has started, that's changing.
