%% date:: [[2022-12-09]] %% # [[The Cave of Eternity]] The Cave of Eternity is a place west of [[Caes Mosor]], closer to [[Shadycreek Run]] where, according to [[Auntie Frieda Pigmouth]], people can live forever... but they can never leave. Auntie Frieda also mentioned that we may hear voices on the way there. ## Locations ### Foyer to Forever - 20-ft diameter cavern wtih four dim torches - Some writing that talks about how those who seek eternal life should enter the Cave of Eternity. - Symbol of a serpent running through the letters. - Balustrade in the centre with staircase down. ### Three Stone Boots - 20-ft diameter chamber - Three pairs of boots in stone, as if from statues. - Double door with a symbol glowing in red coming from them. Wooden door handles with metal tips. ### Medusa's Chamber ![[twc-medusa-fight.png]] - 90-foot long hall, 40-ft high ceilings - Mosaic ceilings - Long pools on either side where snakes writhe - Torches all along the walls - Floor is painted with intertwined red lines the whole length of the hall - Statues of different sizes: - stone goblin crouching on the floor, peeking through its fingers. (whole) - left in the pool next to me: warrior of some kind, sword is ready to stab someone in the belly. - large warrior man with an axe above his head. A barbarian of some sort - one with a staff in their hands. A woman with long hair - [[Ahrisa Mardoon]] and [[Oenn Jagentoth]] as statues in the centre.
