# Wally ![[wally_goodcastle.png]] Middle-aged human man wearing common clothes, but wears chainmail underneath. Wally is a paladin of [[Raei|The Everlight]] who always tries to talk things out with people and hates resorting to violence. However, when pressed, he can efficiently kill people while supporting his allies. He's an ordinary man with an extraordinary ability to calm people down with a few soft words. ![[twc-wally-2.png]] ## Backstory ### The illegitimate heir: Etherion Damurag Etherion is the heir to [[The Damurag Family]] fortune, but testimony from "a blood mage" suggests he is illegitimate, the product of [[Crown Marshal Hayden Damurag]]'s affair with a maidservant. (Source:: [[The Little Black Book of Bad People]]) When he began to hear voices, he was placed in the [[Vergessen Sanatorium|Vergessen Sanatorium]], possibly in small, dark spaces. The Sanatorium is an asylum of sorts for the mentally ill. He never really got over the fact that his father sent him there. Wally says Etherion "is dead now", whatever that means. ### Lost Kryn soul [[Sabniss]], in [[051_20220531 A gift for the tiefling and a kiss in return]],** recognised him as a "lost Kryn soul". #### The progression of [[Consecution]] madness - Wally (as Etherion) began to have dreams of lives he's never lived. - Wally has dreams including stars and a gray d20. - Wally has trouble sleeping, and not even the calming tea I bought helps. - Since [[078_20230214 Champions of the eclipse]], Wally has been able to hear voices of those around him at a level that is distracting when he's around people. - Wally can cast *Telepathy*, since [[081_20230321 Red is for rage#^bdbece]]. #### Valas from Den Hythinos Wally was told by the Kryn in [[051_20220531 A gift for the tiefling and a kiss in return]] that his real name was Valas from [[Den Hythenos]]. As a Kryn, he is possibly goblinkin and descended from goblins.sdfasdfasdfasd ### Other history #### Wally was a god Wally was briefly heralded as a god by [[The Kuo-Toa of Lebenda Swamp]], whose fervent faith granted him temporary powers. #### Pact with [[Auntie Frieda Pigmouth]] Wally entered into a pact with the hag named Auntie Rottongue before Scura joined the party.
