Xenia is an archaeologist and magic-user who loves books, fire, and has digestive issues. He grew up in a library, and that's how he learned to love books. He also had another father figure, a librarian, whom it sounds like he regards as his only family. He apparently used to be part of [[The Cobalt Soul]], but left it for a time. As of [[050_20220524 Nogvurot and the case of the disappearing children]], he was a full-fledged member again, and a historian at that. ### Preoccupation with age Xenia started out at 65 (?) years old, having just realised that he'd "wasted" the entirety of his life being sheltered. He's searching for a way to prolong his life. Then, after we defeated [[The Corrupted Coven|the hags]], he [[067_20221018 All the loot and nowhere to spend it#^5b3a9d|drank]] a [Potion of Longevity](obsidian://open?vault=ttrpg-vault&file=items%2FMagic%20Items%20for%20Dungeons%20%26%20Dragons%205e%20SRD%2FPotion%20of%20Longevity) that we found in their lair, causing him to grow younger by 12 (?) years. He was extremely tempted to go to [[The Cave of Eternity]] despite certain peril. On [[072_20221213 Xenia lives forever|21 Cuersaar]], Xenia got petrified by a medusa, and we were forced to un-petrify not him, but [[Ahrisa Mardoon]]. He was petrified until [[081_20230321 Red is for rage#^ce0130|25 Cuersaar]], when [[Raei]] unpetrified him. Maybe the experience of being petrified for four days has changed him. ## Personality He is a thrill-seeker. He lived most of his life in a library, and now wants to live the adventures that he has read about. As a result, he tends to be quite impulsive and destructive.
