She was a Lightkeeper to be safe, and Candela Obscura is now so fucked that even that is not safe. She was the only one from his group he actually gave a fuck about. Talking to people at The Margin Pub. - A young agent named [[Vlad]] (Vladimir) came into the office and saw she was slumped at her desk. There was someone else in the room already. He saw the killer but couldn't stop them. He's male, in his 40s. Beard. He has tattoos on his wrist. - She had Circles of her own. The Circle that was killed was the Circle that had been investigating the conspiracy stuff so we'd not expect any of her other Circles would know about it too. - The offices are not locked down. It could have been anyone. - She was shot. - Vlad had a bit of a crush on her. Says a lot that he liked someone so severe. And much older. He's young, pretty inexperienced. We don't get the sense that he's all that good of a Candela Obscura agent. - Fidovich was not involved in politics here. If she had enemies, they were probably because they knew about her work at Candela Obscura. - "There probably won't be too many tears shed at her passing". She didn't have any friends. At [[Candela HQ in South Soffit]] We've gotten there before [[ttrpgs/The Great Dark/The Periphery|The Periphery]] have arrived, and people are already preparing for that. They're making the office into a more generic office as a cover story. A secret safe has been pried open and is empty. Ash does a *Remote viewing.* It was [[Eddy]] that killed her! He shot her and then methodically and thoroughly looked through the room for something. He seems to know what he's looking for. He finds the secret safe. Eddy's in his mid-20s. So there was another bearded man that Vlad saw that had a tattoo. We ask around at the office. Nobody was really friends with her. Some of them are slightly relieved that they might get a better Lightkeeper. Tarrin has a look and finds nothing about [[The Phoenix Gang]]. She does find a book by [[Xaverina Twill]]. Eric is looking at the body of Madam Fidovich. He sees a lot of damage that she's sustained from her work at Candela. She has a broken arm and scars. She was focusing on a certain pattern of fissures. She's highlighting where they are. People have seen this gray-bearded man as a regular visitor in the past. They don't know who he was. Sometimes he was carrying a box or a sack. We find her address in South Soffit. We're splitting the party! - Tarrin and Calliope: Breaking Eddy - Ash and Eric: Madam Fidovich's place [[The Clara House]] - Tarrin drops off a drawing of giant ant rituals for [[Lim Dae]]. I had forgotten that [[Tania]] got suspicious of me being a narc. - Talking to [[Clara Bellecourt]] - Where does Eddy hang out? - She knows he's been involved with a gang after he left. Unfortunately that happens sometime. They often turn to criminal elements. And that's what happened with Eddy. - [[The Brass Corsairs]] is the gang name he fell in with. There's a particular bar that they go to. Higher [[The Birch|Birchward]]. The Margin Pub is near the ground. Candela HQ is mid. Clara House is mid. The bar is named [[Grinders]]. [[Madam Lia Fidovich|Madam Fidovich]]'s house - There's another safe here that has been broken into. - There are no papers about Candela Obscura here. She doesn't take her home with her in that respect. - Eric found the name [[Jared Glass]] in Madam Fidovich's day planner. Jared Glass is the name of our fifth PC. - Ash doesn't think the safe is how she normally hides things. She finds her actual secret stash. - The cops turn up! Maybe two or three there. - Eric is able to get out of the house in time, but Ash has a bit more trouble. [[Grinders]] - We're getting dirty looks here. It's a biker bar. There's loud music coming from inside it. People are smoking outside it. - Tarrin gets someone to send Eddy a note to meet us in The Lawn. Eric and Ash - They find a newspaper clipping from Madam Fidovich's notes about a journey into space. There have been rockets sent up. ^2e2504 [[The Lawn]] - This is the first time [[Eddy]] has killed. He said he killed her because of orders. - Is [[Callvo Nast]] messed up in this? No. - Gangs are often used to do the dirty work for other parties, and that's what's going on here as well. This is a dead end in that respect.
