He shows that the spear is a magickal weapon of war. Calcifer wants to be used. Wants to be wielded. - The [[The Geisterdamen]] are not ghosts, but there is an affinity with [[Margaretta]]. - Another project: actually putting on a real show, now that he is actually a real magician. There was an accident. Astronauts actually died. The capsule crashed. There was something wrong with them (they were disfigured or something) that was weird enough not to be explainable by collision or fire. There's something there that the authorities covered up. They're hiding it because they're scared of it. John doesn't have access to any of this. I should probably be careful about how to investigate this. It's a big deal and they might do things-- John could lose his job, I could get put in jail. - I try to look for [[Detective Walsh]] at [[Periphery's Office of Unexplained Phenomena|OUP]]. They said he retired ten years ago and was in his 60s. They did not know anything about [[The Far Horizon]]. - Chase up the origins of the family heirloom she found: it's a necklace with [[The Voidstone|a pendant]]. The pendant is what was magickal. A dark gem, a blackish purple. It seems to absorb the light. It's large and striking. What Candela Obscura found: With the right activation (which probably someone in the family that owned it knew), inside the gem was a magickal agent, a smoke creature that could be unleashed from the pendant and assassinate someone. The family had a way to get rid of its enemies and that's why I was being asked to retrieve it. - I found it in a workshop where the people that had stolen it were trying to activate it (not knowing how to do it like the family did). They half succeeded, and were able to half unlock it but not fully, so that's why it was still being Bled. - It's being kept in [[The Fourth Pharos]].
