# [[005_20201213 Sharkfeather Abyss]]
## Session Summary
Boerth interrupted the interrogation of Dajarkal to report that "something weird" is happening above deck. We rushed above, expecting an attack, but instead find unnatural stillness and quiet. Boris and Lira decided to heal up and take a short rest.
Meanwhile, Ora confronted Three Earrings about being a changeling. Ora told her she was a changeling, looking for a tabaxi changeling that she'd heard was on Palma Flora. Ora also told Three Earrings that she was maybe looking for her mother or her village, and that she was attempting to hide from her father. Three Earrings said she had not heard of changelings, but that they did have a tabaxi on board not too long ago-- a woman named Lin had paid for passage from Palma Flora to Port Damali.
Above deck, Lira and Boris spotted sahuagins climbing up onto the side of the ship. Seeing that they had been spotted, one of the sahuagins called forth an abomination from the sea, a grotesque mass that looked oddly like the innkeeper Abari.
During the fight, Ora noticed a few odd things about Three Earrings. After we killed the abomination, Three Earrings asked us to take the source out to prevent more from being made. We put on our breathing bubbles and dove down to the surface, where we found sahuagins in the middle of what looked like a ritual to turn a dead villager into one of those abominations. We easily dispatched whom we assume to be Selachai, taking her rod, and the other sahuagins ran away as soon as the connection between Selachai and the rod was broken.
A few treasures in hand, excluding one that eluded Boris's grasp, we were welcomed aboard by Captain Three Earrings (once we had handed over the rod), who said that it was time to come clean. *"I'm part of the Revelry," CTE says. "And now, after what you've done, so are you."* ^summary
