# [[006_20201220 Meeting the Plank King]] ## Session Summary Three Earrings told us that we were now part of the Revelry, and that she would have to take us to Darktow, the headquarters of the Revelry. While we travelled there, everyone (including CTE) spent a short rest to identify some of their magical items. As they neared Darktow, we saw some of the formidable defenses that were in place: a dragon turtle, and the lines and lines of guns trained at approaching ships. Luckily, we avoided conflict by flying a special flag that seemed to signal that we were friends. Upon arrival at Darktow, we were immediately taken to the Plank King's throne, where he spoke to CTE briefly before asking us to take oaths to join the Revelry. We all did so, and we were given special scimitars of the Revelry. The Plank King told us he'd have the rod assessed for magical properties before attempting to find a buyer. As we walked to the Plank King's throne, and as we walked from there to our home for the night, the Bloated Cup tavern, Ora began to feel like someone was watching her. Later, as we were drinking and feasting on the free food that was provided to us as members of the Revelery, she felt some thoughts enter her head that were not her own, luring her out of the safety of the tavern and into an unknown building. Acting on the potential of finding out more about her past, she was attacked by a cryptic dark elf that seemed to know a lot more about her capabilities than she did. The dark elf beat Ora to within an inch of her life, but succeeded in provoking a "little knife" out of Ora's hand. Meanwhile, Boris and I followed CTE to an alley by the docks, where we saw a familiar hawk come from the waters to meet her. We attempted to spy on this rendezvous, but Boris tripped on a rubbish bin, causing both CTE and a hooded stranger to turn towards us.
