# [[012_20210131 Caught between lizards and snakes]] ## Session Summary We were woken up by Jamedi, who warned us that there were multiple creatures running through the woods in our direction. Three lizardfolk came running out, obviously pursued. We made multiple attempts to communicate peace, and they chose to run, wounded as they were. Snake people came chasing after them, but we were able to kill them, even one that attempted to run after the lizardfolk. As we took a short rest, Three Earrings expressed her frustration at being sent on an errand. Jamedi expanded a bit more on the relationship between the snake people and the lizard people, saying that the snake people hunt the lizard people for food. Ora spoke telepathically to the lizardfolk and learned that they served the "true god", the sea snake god Uk'otoa, and that the snake people serve the false god, the big snake Zehir. This is the opposite of what Lira had previously learned. She had learned that Zehir was the god and Uk'otoa his creation.
