## Session Summary
You all got on board the Wavechaser, leaving Urukayxl behind you as you all decided to head for [[ttrpgs/The Slayers Five/Port Damali]] to finish off a few loose ends. Ora spent some time getting to know some of the crew by playing some games with them, particularly including Boerth, who was also training her to be a bosun. Orly asked Boris if he would also like to be trained as a quartermaster/navigator, given his memory for paths he's taken. As everyone bedded down for the night, CTE made an overture towards Ora, which was well-received, and they ended up having a less-than-restful night in more ways than one, as they were rudely woken up by the snake god Zehir's reward for repairing a chain that kept his wayward creation, Uk'otoa, imprisoned: a bright yellow eye in the shape of an orb in the middle of their palms and the ability to turn into a fire snake. Meanwhile, Boris dreamed that he was an Aasimar man watching his new recruits go through the drills, preparing for what he learned was a mission to go find and retrieve the second beacon. On the next day, Orly woke everyone up after spotting an island that did not appear anywhere on his map. Four of you headed out on a rowboat to try to investigate it, but found to your surprise that it was not exactly an island but a dragon turtle. ^summary

Boris:
- Beginning at 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
- Starting at 5th level, your speed increases by 10 feet while you aren’t wearing heavy armor.
Ora:
- Starting at 5th level, when an attacker that you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to halve the attack’s damage against you. (Uncanny Dodge)
Lira:
- Beginning when you reach 5th level, you regain all of your expended uses of Bardic Inspiration when you finish a short or long rest.

## Strong start
The crew of the Wavechaser has already pulled up the anchor as Orly personally helps each of you on board. The lizardfolk can swim, but with the cannons on board and some well-aimed arrows, they're easily picked off and you sail off, leaving the jungle of Urukayxl behind you.
"Well, not exactly a relaxing island getaway, I take it. Where to next?" Orly says.

## Secrets and Clues
- [x] The dragon turtle, Thunder, has made an arrangement with [[Vokodo]] to wreck ships and steer them towards the island. Any successful insight checks will reveal that it does not want to kill the people or destroy the ship. It just wants to nudge them towards Rumblecusp.
- [ ] Zehir has struck deals with each of the [[Betrayer Gods]] to help him permanently banish [[Uk'otoa]], but the same magic would break the chains and set him free, so each of the Betrayer Gods has sent out an [[The Arms of the Betrayers|arm of the betrayer]] to guard each temple. There are nine in total, but only four of them guard chains. Those that don't guard chains guard clues to the locations of the chains.
- [x] CTE prefers sexual companions who can change their appearances because she doesn't want to get too close. ([[Dajarkal]], [[Lira]]).
- [ ] Boris's [[Lash of Shadows]] now has the **Dead Eyes** and **Serpent Venom** snakeheads activated. However, if he is more than 10 feet away from it, he is blinded.
- [x] Ora and [[Captain Three Earrings|CTE]]'s reward for them restoring the first chain is that they can now turn into Fire Snakes once a day.
- [ ] [[Jamedi Cosko|Jamedi]] does not agree with the [[Claret Orders]] because he is lawful neutral: he believes in balance. They hunt monsters because they're "evil". Jamedi hunts them because what is evil to him is what is unnatural.
- [ ] When Boris does Divine Fury, he or anyone watching will glimpse Kogas Ironcutter's tattooed hand guiding his. He may recognize it from his dream.
- [ ] [[Trent Ikithon]] is assembling an elite army to go to [[ttrpgs/The Slayers Five/Xhorhas]] and will try to get [[Ora]] to return to him.
- [ ] Lira has slept with CTE once in an attempt to ascertain more about her motivations.
- [ ] Jamedi does bloodletting rituals every day to practice his hemocraft.

- The most striking feature of the island is the gigantic volcano that looms large from the very center of it, but the volcano has not erupted in many years, and has made the ground surrounding it very fertile.
- A lush forest sits at the base of the mountain, with 100-foot-high trees.
- A mist encircles the base of the mountain, hiding the kobold encampment from view.
