## Session Summary
Boris has another dream as Damota where he experiences firsthand the effects of what seemed to be an earlier version of his Divine Fury and, in the dream, decided to share that knowledge with the fighters he'd hand-picked. The party wakes up in their temporary lodgings in Vo village to discover that they have all somehow lost some seemingly insignificant possessions throughout the night. Talking to a very eager-to-please Viridian, Ora realizes she looks somewhat familiar, but Ora is unable to place why. Afraid that the perpetual state of confusion might begin to affect them, the party head off in the direction of the large volcano occupying the center of the island-- what villagers had referred to as Vokodo. They were surprised by a pack of displacer beasts, but managed to fend them off without sustaining too much damage. ^summary

Everyone beds down for the evening, except for Jamedi. There is only one room in this hollowed-out husk of a tree, which is the most cramped living quarters we've had for a while. Still, Jamedi is in a corner-- blades of his scimitars laid out in front of him as he sits motionless. When we fall asleep, he's still up.
Boris, as sleep takes you, your mind does not sleep. Instead, you remember the 12-sided shape you caught a glimpse of on the seabed near Palma Flora, its white-gray pulsing as it fell through your fingers and into the sand. Then it's replaced by the vision of a similar artifact, this time in the hands of a woman. Your eyes adjust and you look at your surroundings. The same woman from your last dream stands before you: dark skin, but with blue undertones, and pale eyes-- what you recognize as drow. She's holding the dodecahedron and smiling at you as you stagger backwards, as if a connection between you and the artifact has been broken. "It's beautiful, isn't it?"

- [x] Ora's father, [[Trent Ikithon]], casts Sending to talk to Ora and ask her to come back. Failing that, he asks her for one true thing about her new life since she's been away. If she agrees, he will say "Aufwachen". This key phrase gives Ora the Magic Initiate feat and gives her the Encode Thoughts and Light.
## Secrets and Clues
- [ ] Flint is a were-bear, and so is his wife Honeythorn, whom he's accidentally gotten too rough with at the wrong time of the month.
- [ ] CTE will try to avoid Ora because of their night together. She won't want to get too close. She will immediately put the moves on Jannika.
- [ ] Boris's [[Lash of Shadows]] can poison a creature in combat (Dead Eyes and Serpent Venom).
- [ ] Banner, Honeythorn's brother, is immune to disease. He has been attempting to find out how to stop the Mother, but he can't do it on his own and he won't leave his sister with no one to fend for her.
- [x] Jannika's druidic nature is responsible for the wild magic around Vo.
- [ ] What Boris decides to do in his dream is what has happened in reality. The players might find a book or hear a song from a bard that tells the story of what he decided as a historical account.
- [x] The mist is poison and causes a foggy confusion and feeling of being watched. Every night spent on the island triggers an Investigation check (DC 10 at the beginning, climbing by 5 for every day thereafter). Upon failure, players must choose an item to lose.
- [ ] Mother Krangor creates poison that is a potent form of [Encode Thoughts](https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells/encode-thoughts). She brews it and then spreads it by way of the [alchemical skunks](https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/1624818-alchemical-skunk) that unknowingly disseminate it. The mist is made up of strands of people's thoughts.
- [ ] [[Vokodo]] made a pact with [[Thunder]], the dragon turtle, to get Thunder to steer ships onto the island. In exchange, Vokodo would split some of the spoils from people arriving via one of the interplanar portals on Rumblecusp with Thunder.
- [ ] Once the charm sets in, the kobolds ask villagers to move any seaworthy ships to the southeastern side of the island and sink any remaining ship parts near the beach to avoid warning incoming ships.
