# [[025_20210523 Ransacking Fire Brand Camp]] ## Session Summary We stumbled out of the poison cloud that had been cast on us, and Lira and Jamedi were the most affected, remaining poisoned for a few rounds. The poison cloud had been set by a Kobold Trapsmith that attempted to hide around the corner until Boris came, spotted it, and immediately began to attack it. It also called the attention of some other kobolds that had been engaged in a ritual by the open pit, and they all came to its aid. Everyone in this cloud is poisoned, except for those immune to poison (Ora and Three Earrings). Once you move out of the cloud, THEN you get to make a saving throw at the end of your turn, so I'm just going to say that Lira and Jamedi still fail their first saving throw after they move out. Ora, you've just spotted a second patrol pair, a kobold mounted on a Fire Snake, and you instinctively let loose a psychic blade in the direction of the rider, the new jagged Infiltrator's blade sinking into its flesh. You hear Jamedi attack another, and then suddenly your vision is filled with this greenish smoke. It fills your lungs, threatening to choke you. We all turn and just manage to catch a glimpse of a new kobold entering our vision. > We see it to the south of us, closer to the entrance - it's just emerged from behind the wall where we are... right about where the body of the dead kobold toppled after being struck by an arrow. > The new kobold is a little bigger than the others, but it's unarmed and unarmored. We just have time to register its snarl and the choking sounds from Lira and Jamedi as they struggle to deal with the smoke before the entire area, a 20-foot circle, becomes heavily obscured visually. For the moment, we do not see each other, and we don't see any of the enemies, either. > We DO hear, though, some movement towards where the new kobold came, some cackles, and then Lira gasping - once, twice, thrice, through her coughing, as she takes 12 points of damage. > It's Lira's turn. She's poisoned, she can't see. She's going to yell out, "Help, there's three of them here!" She'll use her action to disengage, avoiding opportunity attacks, and then move this way until she can breathe. As her bonus action, she'll use her healing word on herself, at first level, and then she's going to fail her first constitution saving throw, so she's still poisoned. > Boris, you're up. She was freed by [[Aro|Karolin]] from the [[Vergessen Sanatorium]] in [[002_20210612 Where is my sister]] (835-09-10, about four months ago) and went to Urukayxl to follow Ora's trail, but she was waylaid by [[Thunder the Dragon Turtle]]. Her ship was shipwrecked in [[Rumblecusp]] and she became Viridian. - [ ] [[Mother Krangor]] creates poison that is a potent form of [Encode Thoughts](https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells/encode-thoughts). She brews it and then spreads it by way of the [alchemical skunks](https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/1624818-alchemical-skunk) that unknowingly disseminate it.
