# [[047_20220109 The Brigand Prince of Prismeer]]
## Session Summary
> [!info] [[047_20220109 The Brigand Prince of Prismeer]]
> You entered into combat with Agdon being grappled by Boris. Agdon proved to be quite dangerous with his branding iron, a red-hot piece of metal that he used to push his symbol, an A, onto the skin of both Boris and Ora. More frustratingly, he turned out to be quite mobile and agile, moving around easily from one set of the planks to another, and he also had the ability to quickly steal small items from people he came into contact with.
> Nevertheless, Ora, whose deadly accuracy wasn't affected in the slightest by the range that Agdon kept, threw two psychic blades at Agdon that sent him careening into the swamp.
> The rest of the harengons, seeing their leader fall, scattered. After going through Agdon's items, you headed to the hollowed-out tree trunk that was the harengon base. It was emptied of people, but there were some items that had been left behind, presumably taken from some of the harengons' victims.
> Dawn seemed to have strangely regained some of her memories, and spoke about the "familiar" story of someone with a scarf being cursed by Zybilna, the previous queen of Prismeer. ^summary

## Recap
![[046_20220102 Jingle Jangle's Dingle Dangles#^summary]]
## Strong start
> While this overgrown brigand harengon posed in front of you all, Ora tried (twice) to grapple him, and each time he just dodged easily out of her grasp.... right into the unforgiving arms of Boris, who currently has him grappled. We rolled initiative, and Ora, at 25, you're up first! What would you like him to do?
## Scenes
- [x] Fight with [[Agdon Longscarf]]
- The environment
- Those who use more than half their movement must roll a d8. (`dice: 1d8`) On a 7 or 8, the causeway underneath them falls and they must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw to avoid falling into the bog.
- Those who fall off are prone and restrained.
- DC 12 Athletics check to free yourself or another from the bog.
- Insults
- [ ] Do you need me to stand still so you can hit? I’m not sure it’d help.
- [ ] Is this your first day using a sword?
- [ ] Maybe if I blindfolded myself with my scarf this’d be a fair fight.
- [ ] Oh, you know magic, do you? You should summon some... skill.
- [ ] I’ve fought Boggles more dangerous than you.
- [ ] Too stubborn to hand over your loot, but too incompetent to win.
- [ ] You made an underwhelming first impression, and it’s not improving.
- [ ] I would insult you, but... in your case I’d feel bad stooping so low.

## Secrets and Clues
- [x] An half-orc, half-titan armed with [[Ruin's Wake]], a magical and sentient spear, has gained notoriety in [[The Many Hosts of Igrathad]]. He is called [[Hardrak]], and a dearth in leadership in orc tribes led to him being able to take over.
- [x] Dawn gets smarter and uglier as time goes on.
- [ ] There is a village in the [[Greying Wildlands]] that seems to produce an overwhelming number of changelings. They're not sure why.
- [ ] [[Zybilna]] had the ability to shapeshift and loved to use it, especially because she wanted to be anonymous as she travelled throughout Prismeer.
- [x] Zybilna had attempted to punish Agdon for his deeds by hanging him by the scarf to a tall tree. When [[The Hourglass Coven]] took over Prismeer, [[Bavlorna Blightstraw]] cut down the tree, saving Agdon and winning his loyalty. In exchange, Agdon made a pact with her to steal things for her.
- [ ] The other hags have thieves: [[Sowpig the Ghoul]] is [[Skabatha Nightshade]]'s, and [[Gleam's Shadow]] is [[Endelyn Moongrave]]'s. The three of them often go into [[The Witchlight Carnival]] to steal things. Agdon stole Sheila and Jamedi's memory of [[Meriele]] for Bavlorna.
- [x] There's something about [[Karnur]] that is reacting to the time he's spent here. It's almost like he has fey ancestry somewhere in his blood.
- [ ] Zybilna used to grant a single answer to any question to anyone in exchange for a year's service - but her answers aren't always as expected.
- [ ] Zybilna's real name was Iggwilv. She is the adoptive daughter of Baba Yaga, who called her Zybilna. She is also known as Tasha.
- [ ] [[Bavlorna Blightstraw]] doesn't trust anyone but herself, so she makes copies of herself and uses them as servants.
- [ ] [[Bavlorna Blightstraw]] distrusts her sisters, especially [[Skabatha Nightshade]], but they are begrudging allies in keeping [[Prismeer]] in their grasp.
- [ ] Bavlorna spends a lot of time bathing in a pool in her cottage.
