When you brought up the woman YOU knew by the same moniker, she knew Delphine by name. According to Fayette, Delphine was an orphan whose parents had been killed by sahuagin when Fayette took her in. Unfortunately, Fayette had left Delphine on Darktow when she went on an errand for the Plank King. Fayette had sailed off with her crew on a routine trade run when her ship was capsized by a dragon turtle on Rumblecusp. She lost her memories and returned to her senses a long time later. She said she'd stumbled into other places she didn't recognize and was trying to find her way back. > > You pressed on to Xari and soon found it nestled on the side of a mountain, atop a huge waterfall. You saw adult carbuncles at the base of the waterfall that seemed to take to Karnur and were surprisingly well-behaved. They allowed the party to climb on top of them and fly to the city of Xari. > > You eventually booked a place called Moongate Cottage for the night-- free of cost because Lira said she'd play. You left Lira and Flint there while the rest of the party went to the Queen's Palace to look for Mialee, who turned out to the the Spymistress. She was the person that the guard Mindartis had told you to find and give a necklace to. She recognized the necklace and, through magical means, believed your story to be true. But she had no recollection of Mindartis nor of Eryn. > > When you checked in with Lira, she said quite cryptically that she might have a lead, but then stopped responding. When you got back to Moongate Cottage, you found no sign of Lira, and a sleeping Flint that seemed to have forgotten all about who she even was. Panicked that there might be something about the city that was causing your memories to be leeched away, you hurried out of the city, but your memories of Lira continued to get more and more vague.
